Our Child Protection programs, which include psychosocial support and trauma recovery, community-based case management, and awareness activities, create a fully-encompassing safety net around children and their families so they can focus on healing, and growing, from the impacts of war.
Our education programs are curated for the contexts of conflict. We create safe spaces for children to learn, improve access to educational materials and qualified teachers, and provide Award-Winning mobile education through our Can’t Wait to Learn program, which condenses years of primary education into digital applications.
Our Food Security & Livelihood Programs, including cash & voucher assistance, vocational training, business mentorship support, on-the-job training, and life skills trainings, help ensure that those we reach can not only return to their communities, but create a life for themselves that’s free from the constraints of wartime.
At Children in Conflict, we believe every child is a victim in war. This extends to those who directly engaged in conflict through forced or coerced conscription in armed grouops. Our programs protect and support these children as they return to their families, communities, and childhood.
What a year it’s been. From Gaza to Congo to Ukraine, children are bearing the brunt of war in every corner of the world. And yet, in the face of it all, there is still joy. Still hope. Still resilience. Still so much worth fighting for.
In 2024, Children in Conflict expanded our reach, deepened our impact, and stood firm in our belief that every child deserves safety, healing, and the chance to dream. We launched new music partnerships, brought our mission to new stages, and grew our donor community like never before. We also faced one of the biggest challenges yet—a collapse in global aid funding that continues to threaten frontline programs.
But thanks to you, we’re not backing down. Together, we raised millions for children affected by conflict, and we stayed focused on impact, equity, and innovation every step of the way. We’re proud to be the U.S. partner of the War Child Alliance, a global network united by a single mission: to protect, educate, and stand up for children living through war. As you’ll see in these pages, our collective footprint is bold—and growing.
